Yep, 5 months of surgery, rehab, and general „That's gotta hurt“, Tip Clips are back! We ventured out to the Reball Training Center, which is right by Fox River Games, and tried it out. To be honest, I was more than a little surprised how well those things work. You don't get the satisfying „SPLAT“ when you hit something, but I'm willing to sacrifice that for the ability to practice cheap. If you're in the area, or you're looking for an econimical way to practice, check them out. We'll be filming a few more shows there before season 2 is over.Which brings me to another point. I've been seeing a lot of people who are confused as to WHY the shows stopped suddenly. Web Dog is a low budget show, obviously. So when my back self destructed, the show lost it's host, director, cameraman, and in fact the whole produciton crew. What happened? An old injury flared up in the worst way, causing a herniated disk that pinched the nerve bundle in my spinal cord. There was a possibility that the nerve damage would be permanent. Fortunately, I got lucky. Not up to speed yet, but I'm mobile. Gene Simmons put it best when he said „Any day over ground is a good day.“The current plan is to finish out the current run of Season 2, which is 10 shows. After that there will be another sabbatical of undertermined length. Why? I need a break too! The plan is to film a 3rd season, much more scaled back. Possibly a show every other week. But that has yet to be determined. There are also plans for other programming on WDR, but that's on the down-low for now. More info will be coming as it happens. But 'Till next time, goggles on, barrel blockers off, game on! -Rob „Tyger“ RubinWeb Dog Radio
