Die PSP, NXL und Nemacolin Woodlands resort haben sich zusammengeschlossen und machen wärend der Northeast Open mit Hilfe des Radiosenders „The X“ Werbung im großen Stil. Die Presseerklärung dazu:Paintball Sports Promotions, the NXL, and Nemacolin Woodlands resort have teamed with Pittsburgh’s 105.9 ‘The X’ to promote the Northeast Open in the surrounding area. The X will run 75 midday commercials beginning this week and continuing through the beginning of the event. There will be a midday live broadcast on Thursday August 26th. We will have a morning drive interview featuring a PSP representative during the Alan Cox morning show. The X will run 50 promotional announcements supporting on-air ticket giveaways to the scheduled concert (featuring Seattle, Too Tall Jones, and Grapevine) and contesting to “field” one of two 105.9 X- 5-Man Paintball teams. The “X” Team would be made up of 4 listeners and one talent (Ryan Camuso from the morning show and /or Bocan or Mike Sill). There will be a listing of the Northeast Open at Nemacolin on the WXDX .com and DVE.com web sites (including hyper-link to Nemacolin.com and pspevents.com) from August 1-28th, 2004. And the X will send E-mail with details of the events & promotions to the WXDX database of16,000 loyal followers. These efforts to attract crowds to the trade show, the tournament, as well as the players party/concert are part of an ongoing attempt by PSP to make the tournament a more well rounded event for the the players, vendors, sponsors, and the public. Nemacolins many amenities will undoubtedly help as well. Players and spectators can enjoy Hummer Trails, rock climbing, white water rafting, golfing on a PGA course, treatments at a world class spa, and more. For those who want to get away for the evening, there is plenty of night life at several college towns within a 45 minute drive of the resort.
