John Bosch, President & CEO of NXe commented, “Although we are in a global economic downturn, along with the paintball industry being hit much harder than most other industries and most companies would retract, we see a real opportunity in expanding. We are in the process of establishing a European entity. We had great distributors in Europe and this is in no way a reflection on them. We felt from a business standpoint, especially in the current economic climate, it would behoove us from a short and long term perspective to take the continent on a direct basis to the retail stores, e-retailers and fields.”
Bosch went on to say, “Mr. Ulf Mueller has been brought in as Director of Sales for Europe. This direction will allow us to have better controls on our brand management, as well as various promotional and sales programs across the region.
While we are in the process of setting up our European infrastructure all inventory, shipments etc. will be handled by Maxs Sport in Germany.
