Ab 2005 wird die NPPL ein neues Ligasystem einführen. In Zukunft wird unter anderem innerhalb der Division auf- und abgestiegen. Zu Beginn wird das System nur in der Pro Divison angewand. Die 2005er Pro Division wird auf 17 Teams begrenzt und der Gewinner der 2004er Division 1 wird das 18. Team in der 2005er Pro Division darstellen.Der kompeltte NPPL Pressetext:NPPL Super 7 Professional League Structure for 2004, 2005 and 2006 The rules regarding the number of teams in each of the NPPL Super 7 Divisions will remain the same in 2004 as they were in 2003.Any team who wishes to enter the other 3 NPPL Super 7 Divisions will be able to do so as long as their roster permits. Please refer to section 4.0 of the 2004 NPPL Rules for roster details.Entry into the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for 2005 will be limited and will be based on the following criteria :- 1 There will be only 18 Teams in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for 2005. 2 The top 17 teams from the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division 2004, based on their Series Points at the end of the 2004 Season, will be eligible to play in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for the 2005 season. 3 The Division I Champions, based on their Series Points at the end of the 2004 Season will be eligible to play in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for the 2005 Season. 4 Any team who wishes to move up from Division 1 to the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for 2004 may do so at any time. Please see section 5.03 from the NPPL Rule book below for percentage of points allowed to be counted. 5.03 Any team that elects to change its status from Division I to Pro, from Division II to Division I or from Division III to Division II will keep a percentage of their points based on which tournament of the year that they move up.After the first tournament: 80%After the second tournament: 60%After the third tournament: 40% 5 The Teams that do not qualify in the top 18 in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division, based on their Series Points at the end of the 2004 Season will automatically be relegated to the NPPL Super 7 Division 1 for the 2005 Season.6 At the end of the 2005 Season a number of Teams yet to be decided from the bottom of the Pro Division will be relegated to Division 1 with a number of Teams being promoted up from Division 1 to the Pro Division.7 The NPPL Super 7 League plans to introduce the above structure into the NPPL Divisions 1,2 and 3 under the same criteria at a future date.
