A Look Back at the Year that was 2004Hello Fellow Angel lovers!!!! It’s been a fantastic year. The quality of my life increased 100% 2004. When I talk about my life it’s the same as talking about paintball because that’s just what’s my life is all about, paintball and my love for the game (ok there is some time for women and food too, no sleep though). The pace was set in the beginning of the year by the release of the Joy and fly Angel. Oh man! Now we dominate everybody in gun power. And with the new screw in AIR you don’t need a lot of muscle anymore to play around with your gat. The AIR makes the set up nice and feather light. 2004 has really made me believe in that good things come to good people. The crew of NPPL have kept their focus on doing what is best for ballers instead of bad mouthing other leagues and the things they do wrong. And now the league is better then ever and it is only getting better. WDP had a lot of a-holes trying to go after them with lawsuits. What’s the answer for all this? I would say envy and greed. The two things that our world really could do better without. So what happens to greedy disgusting people??? They loose big time in life!!!Huntington beach was bigger and better then any tournament ever held. 200000 people watch it thru out the weekend!!! Can’t wait for this years first NPPL. Make sure you bring your boards cause the surfing is awesome. This year some friends and me did paintball schools in Mexico city, Monterrey, Detroit(Atomix), Palma Spain and Sao Paolo Brazil. It was awesome to visit these places, teaching what you love to do and hang out with the coolest people. Big thanks to all my students. You rock!!!People kept asking me thru out the year what team I’m on? Joy 4 life is the answer. Joy division played NPPL and Millennium last year but that wasn’t enough paintball for me. This year I have been a guest player for a lot of teams. Team Evil, Smooth’s little helpers, Arsenal, Russian Legion. And team Regime. It went pretty well with a couple of winnings. Skyball, Pittsburgh Div.1 xball and San Diego NPPL div.1. It was super cool to hang out with these teams, get to experience and pick up all the good things they do. Big thanks to all of you.My team Joy had a great year. We had a couple of tournaments where I wish we would have done better but believe me you learn a lot from them to and what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. We got some good results 2004: Nordic series champs, 2nd over all in EXL, 3rd in Madrid, 2nd in Malaga and best European team in the NPPL.We took a spot in the super pro league for 2005 and we have decided to make something really good with our spot, trust me on this one. We are training hard core to make sure our fans and sponsors always are happy with us. Thanks to our sponsors WDP, Reball and Stockholm Reball center (Simone, Johan and Goj’s bootcamp) we can now practice four days a week. ( i practiced 11 of the last 14 days with no cost ) www.reball.se, you got to check them out! Watch out for us this year and please come up and to talk to us if there is anything we can help you with.Like I said before 2004 changed my whole life. I look at things in a whole new way. Joy, Magued, WDP and all the people who gave me a chance to get to know and experience what I did. The biggest THANK YOU ever!!!!!!!!!!Also in our awesome world of paintball there are not a lot of bad things that happened. In Asia as you know they got struck harder then anyone this year. Take a moment to think about what happened there and let that help you focus on the positive things in your life. Make your problems as small and all the good things as big as possible.Big, big, big thanks to all of you for your time and looking forward to see you this year.Maximus
