Due to the restructuring of the Professional League for 2005, many 2004 Professional teams have been locked out of the 2005 Professional League and moved down to Division I. Concerned about the impact this would have on Divisions I, II and III, the general consensus from the attendees of the Annual NPPL Meeting as well as a sub-committee which was formed from that meeting, is that it is now necessary to add a Semi-Professional Division to the NPPL Super 7 World Series.
