Oliver „sh0rt“ Dzubiel und Michael Kussmaul von Bonusballer haben eine Modifikation für NYX / NYX'ed Matrizen und die DYE DM4 entwickelt. Die Modifikation für die Matrix nennt sich „sh0rt Mod“. Sie bringt die Vorteile, dass der Markierer wedermechanischen, noch Switch-Bounce hat und ein extrem weicher Trigger möglich ist.

Der Sh0rt-Mod beinhaltet einen Triggerjob, einen neuen Switch, den LPR reinigen und einstellen und das Boltkit inklusive benötigter Dichtungen optimieren. Der Preis liegt bei 33,- € inklusive Versand.

Das Äquivalent für die DYE DM4 heißt Cluedo Mod. Auch hier wird der Switch-Bounce eleminiert und der mechanische Bounce stark reduziert der Trigger kann extrem weich eingestellt werden. Im Gegensatz zum Sh0rt-Mod wird hier einfach nur der alte Kabelbaum gegen einen neuen ausgetauscht. Der Cluedo Mod kostet 25,- € zzgl. Versand.

Planet Eclipse nehmen Vorbestellungen für ihren neuen E2 entgegen. Die Frames werden in Black (Polished) und Chrome für 495,- $ / 276,60 £ MSRP erhältlich sein.
