Sheesh, tha rumor mill is duller than a conversation with a particularly uncommunicative wall at tha moment, but here's what we know (or what we made up out of sheer boredom…you choose).
Arsenal's Jason Andre might be looking for pastures new, but don't read anything into Dave Baines non-appearance at Tampa, tha Avalanche beast was sick. The Hurricanes had a great event, taking out Dynasty and Dogs and missing tha cut by a mere six points… Clutch from Hogan's played strong and could become a Cane for real. We also hear that they are courting a big name back player. The team that kept the Canes in the stands was Tigers (with help from some Philly friends), tha only Euro team to make the cut with Joy and Nexus not making the same sort of impression they did at HB. Still no news of which city tha Tigers are going to pick for a name.
One big name team that had a strong Tampa is looking at changing gun sponsor – can you guess who? Speaking of guns, there were a lot of naughty ones at Tampa…people 'forgetting' to change their settings, apparently. Er, right…NPPL's imminent move into Europe seems to be gathering pace – will some of the Millennium promoters jump into bed with Chucky C? And just what is holding tha NXL together now that everyone seems to accept TV is not gonna happen – The NXL publicity machine (quit giggling, they do have one…OK, it may be steam powered, but it is there) has gone quieter than, er, a particularly uncommunicative wall, which kinda takes us back to where we started from.
